I already wrote about this shop in Retail Stores section - howebver, now it's time to post bad feedback. Perhaps, first really bad feedback here, and I wish I wouldn't have to to this...
But now I just want as many people as possible to know this.
www.whoblackpool.com - a british store, seems to be not bad... But not up to date, and that really caused me a lot of troubles.
On october 15th I've ordered Slayer Storm and Atara - not for me, but for another girll who just asked me for help because she didn't know english well enough to communicate and didn't have a bank card at that time. I often do this for various people, such thing is generally common among doll collectors here in Russia. This was the only shop which had both Atara and Storm and really cheap. I uaually deal with another British retailer, Buy For Less Online, and they also have very low prices - but they are just great, never put me down.
We were happy, but then found out they didn't have dolls in stock, though the payment was made. They told us they were restocking... Then I waited for about a month. Asked for a refund (as Buy for Less got Storm in stock so I was going to get them there), but then they told me the package was on the way. Took their time so that it was too late to open a PayPal claim.
And left us with nothing.
And not only us. Look what Google gave me:
http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews168812.html
Seems that they keep fooling people for a long time. And feel happy.
they have pages on MySpace, Twitter, YouTube etc., post some news there, act friendly and reliable - and no one can do anything about this!
I reported them to Trading Standards. Got a reply, but they explained that it's generally complicated with online shopping, especially international deals.
Yeah, there vere tons of unanswered emails and few answered briefly, in a friendly but silly way like "don't worry, it's on the way thank you so much. katie (aaron/maria/whoever... etc.")
Soon my order history was even removed from the site. They explained it like "systems vere down"
The package wasn't supposed to have a tracking number, but one always can show post office receipt to prove that it was sent... They didn't. Though I asked them.
The most dissapointing here is that the girl heard of me by getting recommendation from someone and so easily trusted me her money. I myself never cheat when I'm asked to order for someone: I take money, take their address and place an order. I don't want her to think that it is me who is thief and cheater - I sent her all PayPal receipts and links to negative feedback.
I have nothing more to give her, sadly.
I feel very upset now. Just fooled. |

Unfortunately, I have had some big issues with buy for less online.
At least with the eBay store.
I ordered Penelope and Atara(excl.) from him/them, 16 days apart.
That was 1,5 months ago, and they have been impossible to reach.
I have now opened two cases against them, but no respond.
They have not answered any of the e-mails I´ve sent them, or eBay.
So, I would not recommend them if you´re not 100% that they will respond and help you if anything goes wrong. |

But did you get the money back, at least with the help of eBay\PayPal?
I've ordered from Buy fir Less for about 10 times and it has always been great. However, this may be the type of store which sells items cheaply and in big quantities, and sends as small packets without tracking numbers - so in case anything was lost in shipping, they will be of no great help finding it. I had such issues with several bookstores on eBay - however, I got my books. Just with LONG delays. But the shipping was only about 3$.
I guess, you dolls were just lost?
As for Whoblackpool, they are really thieves. Unlike theese ones. |

Thanks, then I will never consider shopping from them.
No money yet, but it shouldn´t be long now.
Never experienced this before, so I can´t say how helpful eBay will be.
But I hope everything goes well.
Btw, merry christmas everyone!!

Yeah, today is Christmas... And truly, I need a miracle because it is all very dissappointing...
Sparkling_me, if they don't reply to your claim, then eBay\PayPal will just probably return you money. And that's all. I bet, after all, your package was mailed but lost. And they don't pay much attention in such cases, truly - that's their drawback. |
