The American International Toy Fair is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere, and brings together more than 1,500 industry leaders from around the world. Taking place in New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from February 20-23, 2005, the event will open at 9:00 a.m. each day. The five fashion dolls that are part of the Series Three BEGOTHSTM are twelve inches tall and have very distinct but very goth personalities. Julia Doom is a fan of ancient Egyptian artifacts and popping bubble wrap, while Scorpio Vixen keeps dust bunnies as her pets. The Divinity goth doll is the bride in black, engaged to Thor and holds a red rose in her lips. All BEGOTHSTM fashion dolls are extremely detailed and include meticulously sewn outfits.
The Series Three BEGOTHSTM action figures are 7 inches tall and painstakingly constructed of highly detailed vinyl, including Veronika Despair who wears a figure-hugging black dress cut down to there and up to here, and is a big fan of smelling salts, to the Nurse Hypochondrianna figure who brandishes a large syringe and counts administering injections among her likes.
Series Three BEGOTHSTM KindergothsTM dolls are a continuation of the wildly popular gothic plush line of misfit monster babies, from the adorably asymmetric Fester Jester III to Squidley Johnson, ESQ. who keeps bed bugs and dust mites as pets and Mr. Grimm Jimm, a mini-reaper who glows in the dark.
